After over a decade of supporting students with a range of software solutions, in 2015 Macmillan Learning set out to take the best features of all existing digital resources and marry them into a single, easy-to-use, intuitive and flexible platform that would support instructors and students throughout the full learning process.
Achieve was built in partnership with both instructors and students. We used research and efficacy results from testing to design Achieve, and then worked with instructors and students for several years both in the classroom and in the lab to continue the development process.
Today we continue to research different aspects of Achieve in order to determine what is most effective and work with our Product Teams to make on-going improvements based on the data.
We understand the importance of engaging students, so Achieve includes an abundance of opportunities for active learning. Achieve has assets that will support pre-class, in-class, and post-class activities, includes integration with iClicker, our award-winning student response system, and also includes a wide range of different tools for learning, such as videos, simulations, animations, diverse question types, and assignments.
